Steve Dunn was born in Texas and lived in several states before moving to Charlotte in 1986. He started with the firm as a summer clerk in 1996 and returned full time after graduating from law school in 1998. He has lectured at the UNC-Chapel Hill School of Law, UNC-Charlotte, and the Charlotte School of Law. Dunn has been recognized for excellence in publications including Business North Carolina Legal Elite, North Carolina Super Lawyers, and Chambers USA. He has handled numerous employment cases from the administrative investigation stage through trial and appeal and has represented employers in the North Carolina Court of Appeals and the Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals. Dunn is a certified mediator specializing in mediation and arbitration of employment and business litigation.
